Producer Registration

Producer Registration identifies and completes the applicable EPR registration route for each country and product stream, based on producer status, sales model and the relevant compliance setup.

What this service is

Registration requirements are assessed separately for each product stream and market. Once producer status is established, we identify whether registration is required, who must be registered and which national or EU registration route applies. The registration route may interact with collective or individual fulfilment, an authorised representative and the relevant producer responsibility or collective system. These elements are not identical across packaging, EEE/WEEE, batteries and non-packaging products.

We prepare the filings, submit them on your behalf where the applicable procedure allows it, and keep the registration data current as your portfolio changes.

For foreign producers, registration may need to be completed through or in coordination with the authorised representative required under the applicable product-stream rules. Representation requirements are therefore checked before the registration route is finalised.

Who needs it

  • Companies placing packaged goods, electrical equipment, batteries or non-packaging products on the Slovak or Czech market
  • Foreign sellers who have been informed by a marketplace or customer that a registration number is required
  • Groups consolidating registrations that were set up ad hoc by different local entities

What we do

  • Determine producer status for the relevant stream and market
  • Identify the correct registration route
  • Identify whether the producer, authorised representative or collective system performs the registration step
  • Prepare the required registration data and supporting documents
  • Submit or coordinate the registration where the applicable procedure allows
  • Maintain registered information and coordinate required updates
  • Align registration with the chosen collective or permitted individual fulfilment route
  • Record the resulting registration status / identifier where applicable

Registration routes differ by country and product stream

In Slovakia, the Ministry of Environment maintains the statutory Register of Producers of Reserved Products, with registration routes for the relevant EPR streams. The applicable filing route depends on the product stream, producer status, representation and fulfilment model. In the Czech Republic, packaging, EEE/WEEE and batteries follow different registration frameworks. Packaging uses the applicable Packaging Act / PPWR registration route, while EEE/WEEE and batteries use the registration framework under the End-of-Life Products Act together with the directly applicable EU rules. Under collective fulfilment, specified registration functions may be performed by the relevant collective organisation. Registration in Slovakia does not replace registration in the Czech Republic, and vice versa. We establish the required registration route separately for each market and stream.

Slovak law also contains specific small-volume regimes for packaging and non-packaging products. These cases are assessed separately because registration, collective-fulfilment and reporting obligations do not follow the same route as under the full EPR regime.

National registration interacts with directly applicable EU legislation: Regulation (EU) 2025/40 (PPWR) for packaging, Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE) for EEE, and Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 for batteries.

EPR Entry is the commercial coordination platform. Registration services are delivered by the national provider responsible for the relevant market: Slovakia — Green Blue, s.r.o.; Czech Republic — Authorized Representative CZ, s.r.o.

The client remains responsible for providing complete and accurate company, product and sales-model information required for registration and for notifying the provider of relevant changes.
