Authorized Representative
Local authorised representation for foreign companies that have no establishment in Slovakia or the Czech Republic but are obliged to appoint a representative.
What this service is
Companies without a local establishment are in defined cases required to appoint an authorised representative established in the country, who assumes the producer's EPR obligations there.
Authorised representation is assessed separately for each product stream and sales model. A foreign business does not need a representative merely because it sells cross-border; the requirement first depends on whether that business qualifies as the producer under the applicable rules. Packaging, EEE/WEEE and batteries have different representation rules under national and directly applicable EU legislation.
EPR Entry is the common commercial platform through which authorised-representative services are coordinated. The legal service provider is the national entity responsible for the relevant market: Green Blue, s.r.o. in Slovakia and Authorized Representative CZ, s.r.o. in the Czech Republic.
The service is operational compliance support and does not replace specialist legal advice where such advice is required. The producer remains responsible for providing accurate and complete product, sales and quantity data.

Two separate mandates
Slovak and Czech representation are separate legal relationships with separate national providers. Companies active in both markets receive one coordinated service and one contact point, but two mandates.
Slovakia: representation is assessed per product stream and producer status. Where local representation is required, the service can be provided through Green Blue, s.r.o. Limited authorised-representative support may also be assessed individually for foreign producers of tyres and vehicles; tyres and vehicles are not standard EPR Entry product streams.
Czech Republic: representation is assessed per product stream and sales model. Czech law expressly requires a locally established representative for certain foreign EEE distance-selling producers, while packaging and batteries have their own EU-level EPR representation rules. Czech representation is provided through Authorized Representative CZ, s.r.o.
